Embracing Changes

Unexpected things happen for a reason. It can be from random situations like on your regular work days, during the rush hour on the road, while reading the news feed on facebook, killing time on bookstores, watching people how they walk, listening songs to your iPod on repeat, eating your favorite ice cream, or in anything you normally do that molds your lifestyle on a daily basis.

What stops you from your normal routine? It's simply losing it.

I find myself unprepared for what happened to me lately. It attacked my career. It suddenly stopped my daily motion. Yes, its unbearable and I should be saddened about it, but I don't know why I'm still at ease and grateful for what happened to me.

What is my source of joy?

"The source of joy defines your action and reaction. We lose our joy when we lose our source." I got this truth from Grace Manilao's preaching. One of her points was letting God be our source of joy. It is placing your joy to the one that never fails and gives you fullness of it. It was very timely..before the unexpected happened, I've already kept it on my grip and placed my source intact. :)

"If you do what you've always done, you are going to get what you've always gotten."

Maybe its a wake up call to change my routine and start doing what is rightfully made for me. I am not pretty sure where, when and how will I start doing it..whatever it is, I'm excited for greater things along the way.

"When you stop chasing the wrong things, you give the right things a chance to catch you."

You just have to stop in order to start all over again and keep your life on track. Just completely put your trust in Him. Embrace changes wholeheartedly and get ready to be moved.

Blackbird Fly

Durango + Me
I’m not yet over with the fact that Durango (my guitar) can no longer be in my arms. We've been together for more than 8 years. My younger sister borrowed it then someone took it away from her while she was inside the public toilet.

Ganon ka-simple.

mother fatter.
sana maging legendary guitarist ka. kung sino ka man.

It was my very first guitar. Mom gave it to me when I was first year high school. First meeting was not exciting because I really wanted a drumset. Mama thought me how to play it. I remembered the first song she played, “Blackbird” by the Beatles. She strums and plucks the strings gracefully effortless with her 70’s pop voice. While watching her sabi ng isip ko “ang yabang naman neto..”, haha..After that drooling moment, she handed me the guitar and said “pag-natutunan mo to, marunong ka na.”. If 9gag was present that time, you can see my troll face “challenge accepted”.
First song learned, “Leaving on a Jetplane”. Fail? whatever. I became attached to alternative music listening to coldplay, radiohead, vertical horizon, matchbox20, oasis and opm bands like eheads. Syempre, dapat you know their songs para cool ka when jamming with friends. Then I learned Blackbird when I was 3
rd year high school.

I started using this gift for His Kingdom since high school up to now. Nothing is more fulfilling than that.I asked God why He took Durango away from me? (andrama...)

It’s really true that you never know what you have until you lose it.
Don’t wait for that moment to come before it’s too late.
Give your time and care.

The impression to me was to get back to my heart’s desire. To finish my drafts and make more time in writing songs. And most importantly, to stay on track to His will.

Now, I'm waiting for my new guitar.

Lord please give it soon. :)

Effortless beauty

Walking with 3 inches above heels can elevate your confidence.
Wearing rubber shoes and flat shoes elevates your comfortableness.
Dressing outrageously can catch others attention.
Dressing simplicity makes you feel steady.

Tiis-Ganda that's what they called it.
occurs when you do things sacrificially for beauty's sake.

define your features but look effortless.
Steps to achieve it:

have your devotion and meditation.
it starts from within.

feel good about yourself.
You are what you think.
Don't exaggerate, keep it low.

Be realistic.
You can wear anything you want but be sure it's appropriate.

Wear light! wear things you can carry comfortably.

Make-up. Don't be afraid to wear make up, experiment.
Start with a good foundation that will blend to your skin or use BB cream.
A simple eyeliner and lipstick will do.

Clothes. Wear anything you can carry without regrets.

Hair.If you can't handle it, loose it! :)

Shoes. Women loves shoes. Don't deprive yourself wearing high heels once in a while.
Enjoy being a woman.

Important:
Stop comparing. Search for your own identity .

then say Hello! :)

unexpected surprises!

I was just hoping that my day will turned out the way I planned.

and..it NEVER did

Why? maybe I never planned it very well, less preparations.. not effective plan B...or maybe God didn't allow it to happen because He has a better one.

I always rely on my mini-organizer to make my day really organized. Every night, I'll marked the accomplished one's and make comments and comparison's about planned and unplanned things happened throughout the day.

I noticed, there were lots of surprises and unexpected things that came. They were more brilliant and elated!

"If anything happens by chance..
it's not blessing in disguise, it's God's move! "

Try to observe. See the difference. Be blessed.
