All in His Time

From numbered unmemorable days and countless hours of figuring out what will happen next to my constantly changing existence, to happily writing things that came to me unexpectedly, is a living proof that God is moving in my life. His plans never fails. The process was not that easy. It took me couple of weeks of insanity simply because I relied on my own understanding. But if you place your trust into His promises and hold on to your faith with the spirit of gratitude, it will come into place smoothly. All in His time.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways
acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

-Proverbs 3:5-6

New Place
EDSA tops
View from the roof deck, GA Tower 2

Together with my thrifty-wise-spender lovely sister, Wilt. We moved to a condominium that is accessible to all working place. Hello there EDSA! I've always wanted to move to a place near MRT. I like my alarm clock to be the buzzing sound of buses and trains. Haha.. I love it! I was a bum when we moved and I have to pay the rent.
F
avor comes in. We got the place discounted
! Thank you Lord. I was broke that time. I never got to spend that much for my cravings. Natatawa nalang ako everytime
I hear this on the radio,
"Di bale ng walang pera, muka namang artista." haha..benta.

I've been through various interviews that I found tiring and inspiring at the same time. I was tired of googling places, faking smiles and trying to impress people in first meeting. The inspiring part was getting to know different people with their own stories. They will make you realized that you are still blessed in spite of what you are going through. Some of them turned out to be my new networks.

 New Job
Hello there office
After two weeks of exploring the concrete jungle where dreams are made of, haha.. Finally, I found one. Who would have thought that I would land to a job that will spoil me. My table beside the window viewing the skyline, sunshine hits my desk, there's a park near the office where I can unwind during breaks, flexible working hours, only 15 minutes away from home, no quota, no weekends, clever office mates, good salary, and cool bosses..perfection. I didn't passed the exam for the position I applied for.
T
o my surprise,
t
hey opened a new job position for me! God moves in mysterious awesomely way. Just overwhelming.

New Love
us
Us taken by Ems Aquino
Here comes my combo-breaker number 3, my love life. "New day. New life. New. New. New. New year na ba te? Hahaha! Saya mooo!". My friend Ynah tweeted that to me when she found out about this. Haha..sounds overrated? Well, all comes according to His will and I'm eternally grateful about it. I know that I'll fall in love all over again, but I never expected it to be this early and it's happening. Who? When? Where? What? Why? How?..
Whatever the question is.. I feel blessed, fulfilled, and supernatural.

God wants to be involved in even the smallest details of our lives.
Just allow Him and completely trust Him with perseverance. He never fails.
Never.

Whatever October

lean back

Expectation. It's a strong belief that something will happen or someone will achieve something in the future. If you have expected something or someone in the future, then you are growing.
The process of expecting is a no brainer, we are so used to it. On the positive side, it builds your character. You keep your grips on believing that this "thing" will happen as soon as you can imagine it to be. The longer it takes, the more your eagerness, your hope, and faith grows deeper.
In reality, not all expectations fall into place. It comes or it fails.
Yes, some of my expectations didn't turned out the way I wanted it to be. My September ended by the abrupt change of things that matters to me. It ended worst than I've thought. Crap.
Still, I'm expecting greater things will come my way. Whatever October brings, I would still choose to be more expectant for I know that God has greater things ahead of me.

All things fail, but Him? Never.

Don't settle for less

You were my Christmas wish and my birthday wish. I waited patiently for you because I know you are right for me. You were not a surprise because I already set my mind that we will be together someday. I admit I was tempted to find someone that could replace you. He also has the qualities I like about you. He offered me things I want and tried to fulfill my needs.

Almost you, but still not you.
Still, I can't get you out of my head.

And then you came, unexpectedly in the right place and in the right time.
Thank God!
It was not an easy journey, but I hold on because I know you'll be truly worth it.

At last, you are mine now. :)

My first photo taken with my new blessing, named "Kagat"
There. Kala mo jowa na noh? haha..trip ko lang sumulat ng love letter. I just personified my new blessing. Say hello to Kagat, in english bite. You know why? Think of reasons why you bite your lips. Oops wait..hindi yun! Simplehan natin, just the fact that may kagat yung appple. Yun na. :)
1
Taken ng walang halong keme at my room.
Going back, I want to share with you what God has thought me during the process. I know, maliit na bagay lang naman to, but it would be a good start in preparation for bigger things you want for your life. Be it a thing, career, health, financial, or relationship, I believe this will work in all ways.

Set your goal

Before anything else, set your goal. You can't run the race if you don't know your destination.
You need to visualize it and seal it with a prayer.

Power of declaration
Keep on declaring that you will have it. In short, wag maging "negastar".
This is what I learned from my church. Write it down and always say it.

Keep on doing the call

Do what keeps you breathing, don't do things that will let you lose your breath.
Wag ka magpakamatay para lang sa bagay na gusto mo. How will you enjoy it pag wala ka ng lakas?
Do what God has called you to do, Seek first His kingdom and He will do the rest. Keep doing things for His glory.

Unswerving faith
Patience is a must. Keep holding on. Consider it as a test of faith.
The more challenging it is the more rewarding it will be.

Catch it

You'll see favor will come upon you. All you have to do is to catch it.

Do you have wishes in mind?
Remember, don't settle for less.

Simple Things for My 24th Day

I'm very thankful that God allowed me to seize my entire 23 years of existence extra ordinary. I don't have any regrets kahit na sobrang daming memories na masaya, malungkot, masakit, abnormal..basta lahat yun burado na! I'm still grateful kasi those experiences made me stronger and a better person. I'm also blessed to have my church, my family and friends na laging nakasuporta sakin.

Maraming salamats!!!

Bukas, I'll be 24..so what? haha..Mejo nagpanic ako kasi nakadrawing sa journal ko dapat bago ako mag-24 may churut at naka-churut nako (don't ask me what churot means. basta! google mo). I asked Tery (my sister) kung anu ba dapat gawin pag 24 ka na.

Something that will make me feel fulfilled and complete. Kaya ngayon palang, I'm declaring na that God will give me greater things, para maging daluyan ako ng blessings. It could be something unexpected, something that will make me more inspired, maybe someone, or anything that will change my life.

I don't have any plans yet, pero this will be mg peg for tomorrow.
Thanks for being part of my existence!
(or should I say mawexistence?.)

Before June Ends

After months of watching french films..sleeping all day..eating like a pig..burning hours on the internet..taking self-portraits..selling old clothes..playing dead whenever mom gets home..missing kinsenas and katapusan..adapting dog gestures..re-arranging home furniture..fetching my brothers to school..planning our daily menu..replacing pillow cases..cooking like a monster and so on just to avoid boredom,
Finally, I got a new job! ^_^

Before it happened, I did a freelance job. It was work from home. Worked as a fashion writer for a website. It's a blessing! I'm still earning. But I guess its not effective for me..yet. Maybe just the fact that I like going out and meeting new people and seeing things changing everyday. And also, whenever I see my bed, I got magnetized easily. (that's the reason why I called my bed "magneto" and same reason why I seldom meet my deadlines)

I asked God if that's what He really wanted for me.
I prayed and sought for His answer.
It was never easy.
It was truly a test of patience, trust, and faith.

"Under His learning process is not a waste of time."

Aside from daily devoted time for meditation soaking into God's presence, my notes from our church pastors also guided me to set my perspective right under His will.
keep eternity in mind

It came just in time when I felt my mind, body and whole being is ready to get on the game again. To my surprise, I got two job offers. (magandang problema).
Both companies made an inclusive attachment to me -same suits my interests, nearer workplace and they're equally nice. They brought me to confuzzledness. (feeling confused + puzzled). Again, prayed which one will I choose. His will never fails.
Now, I'm currently working as a copywriter for an Advertising Agency. =)

"One way to make the most of your life is to keep eternity in mind."

"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will." -Romans12:2

It only takes a stronghold of faith to start anew. A leap of faith to hold on what you believe in, will make your desires come to past.

Under the Weather Happiness

Being happy is our default mood attached to all occasions. We say, happy birthday, happy anniversary, happy easter, happy new year, happy father’s day, happy mother’s day and so on. We are supposed to be happy and being happy is not meant to be occasional.

It’s easier to be happy when you are caught in the moment of a celebration, success, cheerfulness, wealth, surrounded with high-spirited friends,
in love, and most especially when you’re living what you wish for...those are your sunny days.

What will happen when you lose it all? Where will you find happiness when you're not in those moments anymore?
Here comes your under-the-weather happiness breakdown. You're on your rainy day.
Part of it could be failed plans, depression, loneliness, unanswered prayers, brokenness, losing someone, crushed expectations, or rejection.

Happiness is a choice right? So you’ll try anything just to get back on your track. You get along with friends, travel, drink, waste your money and do things that will make yourself busy with stuff you think would cheer you up. After all the efforts to keep you sane, there's a part of you that’s always been missing.

"The happiness that won't only last during your sunny days or rainy days
is the eternal joy that comes from one source,
and that is Christ."

"You have made known to me the path of life: you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand."
-Psalm 16:11

Now you know where to find it.

College collage

The two places where I spent some of my savings during college days were at Quaipo and Divisoria. It is also the busiest market place in Manila where you can find anything you need for school, home or business -all at low price. It's also my favorite place for photo walks, hello street photography. hehe.. Since all my expenses were on budget during that time, this is where I got my best buy trendy shoes, everyday school wear, things I need for my projects, supplies for artsy stuff, and camera necessities.

Going here with May (my younger sister that will soon be in college) again gave me instant thoughts of moments I had with selected patient people I spent time with.
Hello guys! (you know who you are) ^_^

College life in Manila won't be complete without these places being part of it.

"Ate, babalik ako dito lagi!"
-May

Biglang Tama

Hindi ko inaasahan
Surpresa sa aking daanan
Pagdating mo ng biglaan
Walang sadyang nasaktuhan.

Hindi ko naman kailangan
Bigla na lang hinahanap
Pagdating mo ng biglaan,
Oras ng ako'y tinamaan.

Hindi ko hinahanap
Bigla ka naging kailangan
Walang oras na nasayang
Lahat naging makabuluhan.

Hindi ko inasahan
Biglang hulog sa 'yong lansangan
Pagdating mo ng biglaan
Biglaan din ang hangganan.

Embracing Changes

Unexpected things happen for a reason. It can be from random situations like on your regular work days, during the rush hour on the road, while reading the news feed on facebook, killing time on bookstores, watching people how they walk, listening songs to your iPod on repeat, eating your favorite ice cream, or in anything you normally do that molds your lifestyle on a daily basis.

What stops you from your normal routine? It's simply losing it.

I find myself unprepared for what happened to me lately. It attacked my career. It suddenly stopped my daily motion. Yes, its unbearable and I should be saddened about it, but I don't know why I'm still at ease and grateful for what happened to me.

What is my source of joy?

"The source of joy defines your action and reaction. We lose our joy when we lose our source." I got this truth from Grace Manilao's preaching. One of her points was letting God be our source of joy. It is placing your joy to the one that never fails and gives you fullness of it. It was very timely..before the unexpected happened, I've already kept it on my grip and placed my source intact. :)

"If you do what you've always done, you are going to get what you've always gotten."

Maybe its a wake up call to change my routine and start doing what is rightfully made for me. I am not pretty sure where, when and how will I start doing it..whatever it is, I'm excited for greater things along the way.

"When you stop chasing the wrong things, you give the right things a chance to catch you."

You just have to stop in order to start all over again and keep your life on track. Just completely put your trust in Him. Embrace changes wholeheartedly and get ready to be moved.

Saved by Losing

bible verse
Stop chasing the life you always wanted, you will only get tired and find yourself wasted.
Someone has already done it for you.
Be saved by losing your life to the one who gives fullness of being, unconditional love and eternity.

First Trip of the Year Goes to Baguio

Every long weekend is a big deal for young professionals who work longer hours. To make the most of it, what you need is a great escape to a breath-taking-stress-free relaxing place away from jollibee (busy bee)hehe..Going to Baguio is a great deal. Aside from its cool weather, strawberries and veggies are cheaper, even the cab rate is very honest, artsy food restos are everywhere, jeje live horses (saw one horse with pink hair, haha..), nice view from the high rising houses (minimum of 3 floors), accessible swan lake, bikes :), one stop ukay-ukay, kamsahamnida peeps, random parade, and lots of ethnic and native stuffs. Here are my favorite pics from our trip.

A 2-day stay in Baguio with two fun traveler friends (Jairus and Ria) is worth it -to keep my mind sane and on-track, again. Thanks to Ria for making our itinerary. We managed to come across 13 destinations; TamAwan Village, Strawberry Farm, Burnham Park, Swan Lake, Camp John Hay, The Mansion, 50’s Dinner, Oh my Gulay, O’ Mai Khan, Mines View Park, Pizza Volante, Market Place and Ukay Paradise. And also for one memorable conversation we had on our way home. I’ll keep what she said. “You are a gift that is not yet open, you are a surprise.” and Jairus for his never ending diva lullabies, hyper energy and for sharing his Lolo’s home sweet home.
And, thank God for our safe and smooth trip.

More photos to come on my Facebook account. :)

What Im Doing Lately

Im still blessed that even I haven't had a new Macbook Pro, I now own a very beneficial and multi-tasker that kills boredom, new Ipod touch 4th gen. I called it Whitey simply because it’s white. I can listen to my never ending chilly, pop, techno, indie, contemporary, rock music which my sister and brothers would not play and plug into our house speakers,haha.. I can read various novel books which I can download for free, can meditate anywhere with bible on the go, can watch movies all over again and skip to my favorite scenes and lines. It serves as a game console, now I can wait 10 minutes or so just playing Temple Run and Fruit Ninja. I lost my guitar tuner, I don’t have to buy one because there’s a guitar tuner app that is available on iTunes for free along with guitar effects you can choose from, awesome. It increases my productivity with reminders that keeps me on track. Lastly, my favorite camera apps that take pictures like film, Instagram and Leme Cam. I enjoy taking pictures every day and anywhere possible and share it instantly with its very fast Wifi. Here are some of the pics. :)
first Instagram photo of my undecided shoes
common mobiles you'll see on Eastwood
watching cars and people pass by in double exposure
tried tilt shift effects
currently reading a fascinating love story novel
crossing Fridays
Krispy Kreme doughnuts

Thanks for reading. ^_^
