We are Blueming

We are equally unaware with that thought. Is it the clothes we wear, the food we eat, the emotions from the songs we love to listen, our fancy freelance job, or the amount of money we earn? These things are temporary. Loving God first more than each other makes everything fall into place. The natural bloom we have is God's overflow in us. His generous love, joy and peace in our hearts are the reasons why we're still grateful in spite of the imperfections of what life brings.

searching me caught you with holga
And the last thing I'm most thankful for...
is HE letting us find each other.

It gives me the pleasure of capturing photos with unlimited roll of films. Just so you know..you can now check your Instagram account via web.

All in His Time

From numbered unmemorable days and countless hours of figuring out what will happen next to my constantly changing existence, to happily writing things that came to me unexpectedly, is a living proof that God is moving in my life. His plans never fails. The process was not that easy. It took me couple of weeks of insanity simply because I relied on my own understanding. But if you place your trust into His promises and hold on to your faith with the spirit of gratitude, it will come into place smoothly. All in His time.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways
acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

-Proverbs 3:5-6

New Place
EDSA tops
View from the roof deck, GA Tower 2

Together with my thrifty-wise-spender lovely sister, Wilt. We moved to a condominium that is accessible to all working place. Hello there EDSA! I've always wanted to move to a place near MRT. I like my alarm clock to be the buzzing sound of buses and trains. Haha.. I love it! I was a bum when we moved and I have to pay the rent.
F
avor comes in. We got the place discounted
! Thank you Lord. I was broke that time. I never got to spend that much for my cravings. Natatawa nalang ako everytime
I hear this on the radio,
"Di bale ng walang pera, muka namang artista." haha..benta.

I've been through various interviews that I found tiring and inspiring at the same time. I was tired of googling places, faking smiles and trying to impress people in first meeting. The inspiring part was getting to know different people with their own stories. They will make you realized that you are still blessed in spite of what you are going through. Some of them turned out to be my new networks.

 New Job
Hello there office
After two weeks of exploring the concrete jungle where dreams are made of, haha.. Finally, I found one. Who would have thought that I would land to a job that will spoil me. My table beside the window viewing the skyline, sunshine hits my desk, there's a park near the office where I can unwind during breaks, flexible working hours, only 15 minutes away from home, no quota, no weekends, clever office mates, good salary, and cool bosses..perfection. I didn't passed the exam for the position I applied for.
T
o my surprise,
t
hey opened a new job position for me! God moves in mysterious awesomely way. Just overwhelming.

New Love
us
Us taken by Ems Aquino
Here comes my combo-breaker number 3, my love life. "New day. New life. New. New. New. New year na ba te? Hahaha! Saya mooo!". My friend Ynah tweeted that to me when she found out about this. Haha..sounds overrated? Well, all comes according to His will and I'm eternally grateful about it. I know that I'll fall in love all over again, but I never expected it to be this early and it's happening. Who? When? Where? What? Why? How?..
Whatever the question is.. I feel blessed, fulfilled, and supernatural.

God wants to be involved in even the smallest details of our lives.
Just allow Him and completely trust Him with perseverance. He never fails.
Never.

Mr. Grey Brought Me Here

It is amazing on how a one second click can capture ones character in a very detailed manner. These photographs imbues with captivating romanticism and dominating pull. I see beauty in a deepest form like something touches me. I can't believe Christian Grey influenced me that much and made me thought of compiling men that embodies his character. And yes, these are the most interesting, sexiest and impeccable men alive..for me. I would be glad if some of my bets could play Mr.Grey.
Ermahgerd, I can't wait.
Who's your bet?

Winter is Coming

This look was inspired by the phenomenal medieval fantasy series, Game of Thrones. I can't deny my deepest admiration to the creators, writers, realistic production and most especially to the characters of the series. My heart is for the Starks, but my will to watch it overnight goes to the ever greedy, ruthless and fierce queen,
Cersei Lannister.

She is willful, ambitious, and cunning in the sense that she is utterly willing to betray anyone who trusts her, or do anything to protect her own. However, she is also arrogant and self-centered to a fault. While she certainly believes herself to be a master strategist, she is extremely impatient, short-sighted, and displays poor judgement, making her actually not very skilled at manipulating enemies who openly do not trust her. In public, Cersei often tries to exude a sense of calm and regal control over her surroundings. However, when things do not go her own way Cersei's usual response is to become extremely flippant, even when the assembled Small Council is trying to give her advice which would serve her own interests.  How cruel is that? If I could be bad, I could be as mad as her. Fighting not for fame or power, but for the fullness of a wonderful joyous life for my love ones.

10..11..12

Those were not my favorite numbers, but the relevance of the number series is something to be remembered and sealed. There's nothing extra-ordinary that will happen today. Things such as the moon will be half-covered by the sun, or the stars will collide forming heart shape, or anything amazing that the world shall witness. It's just that the date today will never be repeated again. I just want to make something that I can look back. So, here's a short story out of my Instagram pictures.

In every splendid working day, she writes.
She starts her day with a daily devotion. Words that she carries all throughout the day.
Her outfit wouldn't be complete without her favorite coral red lipstick that will compliment it.
She puts it on, preps the day with much enthusiasm -ready to kiss the day good luck.
Her watch is 10 minutes advance. I don't get it.
It doesn't help her anyways.
She applies this quote especially during travel time.
She puts on her iPod and all will turn out good as her song plays.
When she can't help it, sometimes this slips through her mouth.
Mostly heard whenever she's unpleasantly surprised.
After work, she still manage to go out for gigs doing other things she loves.
Photography and Music.
Good shoes can take you to good places. That's why she invest for good shoes.
You will find her wherever there's indie music and to any artsy event happenings,
or to any restaurant that offers buffalo wings, vanilla ice cream and wintermelon milk tea.
Practice..practice..practice. That's what she needs.
Someday, she will have the guts to answer her call.
That is to make music for His glory.
Next to God would be her family, passion and true friends.
Special someone?..
Still in her dreams. Someday, her prince will come and wake her up with a kiss.
And they will live happily ever after..for eternity.

There! Hope you like it.

How to Make a DIY Photo Collage

After pinning on Pinterest for a couple of months, I decided to apply what I learned from vast DIY projects. I created this photo collage poster from used canvas and old magazines. For a more defined output, begin with blank and white picture cut-outs. It looks more sophisticated. Here's my finished product. :)

Materials you need: textile paint, scissors, electrical tape, magazines, old canvas or if you have none you can use an illustration board, and good music background. ^_^

5 Easy Steps
1. Start with a clean canvas
Use the red textile paint to color the edges of your old canvas to give it a new look. You can use any color you want. What I like about textile paint is its compatibility to all crafty projects like t-shirt printing, shoe painting and etc.. Also, it is water-based so its easier to clean. I only use a toothbrush to paint this. :p
If you're using an illustration board, it's not necessary to paint it. Just choose a 1/4 (15"x20") size board.
2. Collect your pegs
Start browsing the magazines you have and start cutting out pictures you want to include to your photo collage. Another choice, you can also print images from the web or might as well use your pictures.
3. Make your layout
After picking out the best pictures, fix the photo layout to your canvas or board. Don't get so puzzled trying to fit in all the pictures. Choose what blends perfectly together. You can use the scissors to crop some images and fit them accordingly.
4. Fix the Collage
For a more neat layout, use the electrical tape to make an an illusion of framed pictures. Cut the tapes through the back of the board to stick it.
5. Brag It
Now, you can post it to your empty wall. Place it to your favorite spot.

Enjoy!

Photography Workshop at Shutterspace Studios

Shutterspace Studios offered a free photography workshop with celebrity/fashion photographer, Raymund Isaac. The workshop encouraged us to pursue photography to the next level -to be Pro. We are first timers in this studio, and the place is pretty dope. From vinyl polished floors, neat white walls, complete lighting supply, wide white space, huge glass windows up to the precision of zen-like interior details and the nostalgic record player.

From top left; loft studio office, DSLR's of some participants, strobe lighting equipment I would like to have, and the whole batch of participants. (taken after the Q and A session with Raymund)

Here we are. :) Photo from Shutterspace Studios

Major takeaways:

*Get inspiration from the masters
Not only from photographers, but most especially from famous paintings, illustrations, and even comic books. We browse pegs from magazines, and it's ok. Just make sure you'll create a better version of it. Think of possibilities you could get from another source.

*Never forget the basics
Start from using one light source and break the rules after mastering it. I still use my lampshade for my portraits and natural light. Not bad.

*Whatever they think, think the opposite
If anyone thinks the same, no one will stand out. So are you?

*Beauty is relative
-Anything is possible depends on your interpretation. Start setting your own standard of beauty.

*Don't rely on photoshop
I'm guilty on this, sometimes. I'll be patient. Let's make frozen moments realistic.

*Don't lose your interest
Keep learning, keep on shooting. Show your work! Be out there and make new connections and friends.

*Know how to read people
You see, you can use your psychology skills. He was sharing on how to deal with different kind of people. He sites an example, and to my surprise, he was talking about me. He read me! "She's confident that's she's  beautiful. She thought it's given and there's no need to flaunt it. That's why she's hiding it with her bangs."

*Don't be afraid to share
Not just your photographs, but also your blessings. God got your back when you give back. :)

and lastly, "Wear pink." -Raymund Isaac

Tom Cruise Rockstar Alter Ego

It gave me a second look after seeing the new cover of W magazine for June issue. He looks real as a rock god from the eighties. W Magazine made a cover story for his upcoming movie Rock of Ages. These photos quite excites me to watch how he plays his character as Stacee Jaxx. It's enthralling to see how he sings, plays the guitar and performs on stage intensely out of the norm.

Beautiful People that Uses Leica

The most compact, sharp, fast shooter that creates crisp timeless photographs is the luxurious Leica digital camera. I got inspired more to see beautiful people use it, some are from motion pictures I've seen. Compiling these images made me drool more for the latest Leica digicam. Here are the different faces of Leica.
Audrey Tautou

Scarlett Johanson
Penelope Cruz
Jennifer Conelly
Bradley Cooper

Julia Roberts
Jeniffer Love Hewitt
John Mayer
Brad Pitt
and the Queen Elizabeth II

I really wish BIGTIME to have one. The latest costs more than two million pesos. More expensive than I've thought!
