Words on Hand

I was amazed on how someone created this sculpted-like paper cut letter fragments. Holding hand writings with your bare hands makes every word speak so real. Annie Vought passion for art and strong interest for handwritten records from individuality's true expression fueled her to make this work. Her genuine workmanship shows her paper cut letters treasure-worthy. Just wondering', how will you react after receiving a love letter like this?...

"My recreating the letters is an extended concentration on peoples’ inner lives and the ways they express their thoughts through writing."
-Annie Vought

WOODstruck!

Going back to the basics apart from the advanced high technology materials, let's go back to where they all started. Here are some of my favorite things that brought my life more meaningful -all made of wood.

Camera
For keeping my memories alive.
This is a organic wood camera educational toy from little sampling toys. Its a good alternative for plastic toys.

Shades
Because I love taking images outdoors and letting the sun shine on me, sunnies are essential.
I would be pleased to have one handcrafted Canby Pendleton sunnies from Shwood.
Click here to see how it was made.

Acoustic Guitar
My partner for more than 7 years never failed me. My guitar accompanies my creative sanity. It's getting old and need to re-fret, or maybe I'll buy another one. *blessings please :)

Pencil
For writing and keeping tracks of my mental randomness.

Bed
This is where it all happens. :)
One of the best things in life -a free relief from all our toils, sleeping.
I would like my room to be like this. I got this room inspiration from Gavin Daniels.

Rock For Peace

Advocating peace for the nation brought to you by the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process. The rock concert was held at Eastwood City Libis last Thursday. Again, the place was jam packed with young pros and students. A night for rock genre promoting Original Pilipino Music's genuinity.

Hosted by Tado and girl Dj

Franco Reyes
FRANCO performs undeniably sensational.

URBANDUB ended the night gracefully

Here are the other artists who performed that night;
TYPECAST, DECEMBER AVENUE, JEJAVIEW, TAKEN BY CARS, THE BUTCHERCONS, FRANCO, RADIOACTIVE SAGO PROJECT, JULIANNE, MALAY and NOEL CABANGON.

The night was a blast. You can really feel the rock spirit. The event was a manifestation of the youth's hyper vibe unified for peace through Rock Music.

Rock for Peace is Satisfaction Guaranteed! :)

*I will update this blog soon along with the other fantastic photos.

Pepe as Japanese Gangstah

Aside from missing the people with grounded uniqueness of personalities and diverse character of each individual that I worked with -from artists, proofreaders, writers to team leaders, I also missed the weekday costume events at Yell Adworks.

If only mind could talk...

I will be one of the noisiest women alive.

This happens to me during travel times especially on the bus or wherever you see my face blank.
I am more observant to things that are extremely interesting like the three blonde kids flock together like birds. Even the not so interesting things like the busted light on the street sign, a slipper left in the middle of the highway, random posters of shampoo ads, or ads with smiling models with blackened tooth, or sloppy graffiti catches my attention.

When I was in college, our professor told us to keep on looking at the billboard ads. It’s a mind exercise for advertising students which allows you to get familiar about creating one, knowing what’s missing and how to improve it.

Surrounded with numerous ads on the road makes my average 10,000 words in a day wasted. These things were not insults or whatever, just opinions.

What do you get from that?
New ideas.

It can be good or bad, can be inspiring or not.
Just let your mind flow and discover what your creative mind could do.

Make your own star

This is a manifesto from Kling.
Aside from marking their way with fabulously favorable collection, they aim to give a good hope for their customers. This philosophy strikes me. It reminded me to keep on track on my goal. Follow my own star, follow what I truly believed in and follow what God has placed into my heart. I will continue the walk and reach that goal. I encourage you to make your own star and start following it and always be dedicated to live with inspiration.
