It was a rainy Saturday afternoon when we went to the pinners paradise, Heima Brixton. They held a mini back-to-school shindig where I've got to see how paper sculptures are made by Thursday Room's creative group. At the same time, I enjoyed the intimate live sessions by my loves and talented friends (Nights of Rizal and
Love in Athens).

I felt like a child in a toy shop, giddy and ready to play. This shop has a certain aura that easily lifts any mood. Maybe it came from the good vibes of what's written
on the walls, the colorful things that radiates positive energy, the sweetness of Mamad's stare while he sings, or the free wintermelon tea from Moonleaf -all my favorite things in one place.

For design geeks, artsy hipsters, and fun people who loves quirky stuff for their homes, this one is for you.

Take Me Home

He is someone who sounds powerfully interrogating my sub-conscious mind. He is Sameer Gadhia from the Jakes, now known as Young the Giant. Their music sets any mood easily from heavy to light heartfelt emotions. I heart their refreshing videos such as Strings and I Got  from In the Open sessions and intimately attached to these songs; Islands, God Made Man and most especially Take Me Home.

Halloween Indie night at Route 196

Friday night is the best night to hang out after a long weekday in the office. Halloween party is everywhere, got invites from several parties around the metro but I choose to go here to where exactly my mood wants to be. Its at Route 196, the Light the Right One In (a Halloween costume party) by POPshoppe.

The mood setters: The Gentle Isolation, Your Imaginary Friends, Dirty Hate, The Bernadette's, Tey's Revenge, and The Camerawalls.

The Gentle Isolation for the opening. They are consistently soothing and dreamy. 

The Dirty Hate made their presence intense with their original compositions.

Today I was inspired to see the sunrise again after witnessing drastic storms that came in our city. Watching the sun to rise and waiting for the sunlight to shine on my face gives me pure bliss and warmth. Here are some of my top video picks for the day setting feel good sunny ambiance wherever you are.
